Natalie Taaffe Hoffman

Natalie Taaffe Hoffman, co-founder and managing partner, brings to Linden Partners, LLC, more than 20 years of fundraising experience. Her expertise in the areas of major gift procurement and within the fundraising community have fueled unprecedented growth at this innovative consulting firm. As managing partner, Hoffman has the vision to carry the development field into creative new domains to form a diverse range of clients and contacts. Hoffman is fostering growth in the relationship between philanthropy and the area's emerging new, technically centered economy.

Prior to forming Linden Partners, Hoffman served as Associate Dean, External Affairs at Carnegie Mellon University's Graduate School of Industrial Administration (GSIA).   Before GSIA, Hoffman was Director of Development for Pittsburgh's renowned Shady Side Academy.

Hoffman is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.  She is on the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, the "I Have a Dream" Foundation of Pittsburgh - of which she is a founder, and of the Friends of Hôpital Albert Schweitzer, Haiti.
Karen Sartin Slevin

Linden Partners co-founder and partner Karen Sartin Slevin brings to the company more than a decade of experience in foundation relations. Slevin's dynamic leadership style and knowledge of resources have reinforced Linden Partners' outstanding reputation for success and proven results. Her skills in foundation and public relations contribute to an ever-expanding pool of philanthropists and donors. Her foresight is helping to shape the company's vision of twenty-first century philanthropy--both in traditional and cyber environments--including the Internet and other electronic venues.

Slevin previously worked as Director of Foundation Relations at Carnegie Mellon University's Graduate School of Industrial Administration (GSIA).  Before her work at Carnegie Mellon, she was Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Pittsburgh's Carlow College. For several years, Slevin also operated her own public relations consulting initiative, with clients including The Salvation Army, McDonald's Corp and Stouffer Foods. Prior to that Slevin worked for a number of internationally known PR and communications firms, including Creamer Dickson Basford, Inc.; Hill and Knowlton, Inc.; and Ogilvy & Mather Public Relations, Inc., cultivating and fine-tuning skills that help to round out the wide range of excellent services offered by Linden Partners.

Slevin is a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Pittsburgh, Inc., and of the Duke University Club of Pittsburgh.
Anja Grant Skinner
Director of Administration

The administrative director of the Linden Partners' team, Anja Grant Skinner brings to the company 13 years experience in the financial and administrative arenas. As Director of Administration, her strengths in accounting and finance position Linden Partners perfectly for its continued unprecedented rate of growth.

Skinner's ability to "hit the ground running" with whatever challenges are thrown her way makes Skinner ideally suited for the creative and visionary projects tackled by Linden Partners.
